Shelly MacNeill For Selectman

Shelly MacNeill for Selectman

I am pleased to announce my candidacy for Stoneham Selectman in the upcoming municipal election on April 4, 2017. After serving on the school committee for the last ten years I have decided to once again pursue a seat on the Board of Selectmen. I bring over twenty years of experience working in government, the ability to work with town departments and a proven record of results.

There are critical town needs that must be addressed including investments in public safety, infrastructure, road and sidewalk repair and ADA compliance. Ensuring access to services for seniors and veterans and increasing opportunities for Stoneham youth are priorities. We are so fortunate in Stoneham to have volunteer groups who have done a tremendous job of working with residents to identify our needs and formulate strategic plans for our future. By bringing these groups together with town departments working collaboratively on projects going forward, we will have even more success.

There are always challenges as the needs of residents and businesses change, however, I believe that with collaboration, clear communication and a positive perspective we can work together to meet these challenges and make our community stronger. I can be reached by private message on Facebook or by email at I look forward to hearing your questions and concerns and I respectfully ask for your consideration and your vote on April 4th.

With gratitude,

Shelly MacNeill
